Waldemar Schygulla
Waldemar Schygulla is a Silesian writer and journalist. A former editor-in-chief of Antylinia.pl and press spokesman for the Silesian Autonomy Initiative, he has worked across Europe in media, politics, and social projects promoting equality and integration. Educated in Journalism and Social Communication, he writes in several languages, blending sharp wit, historical depth, and political insight.
He spent a decade wandering across Europe, living the so-called dream of a nomad — a dream he now calls beautifully over-romanticized. Today he’s settled in Vienna, drawn by its culture and contradictions. A committed advocate for equality, ecology, and animal rights, and a passionate anti-fascist, he writes with both fire and irony. “If I were gay,” he jokes, “I’d be the ultimate nightmare for every far-right believer. But I don’t care — they don’t read books anyway.”
